Babak Bakhtiari
Babak Bakhtiari joined ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University’s Office of General Counsel in 2022 as Associate General Counsel. Babak’s principal areas of responsibility in the Office are Student Affairs, Athletics, litigation, and compliance. Prior to joining ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, Babak was a partner at a 30-attorney school law boutique where he served as outside general counsel for K-12 school districts and higher education institutions.
Babak received his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he majored in English. He received his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Babak is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
